Warranty & Limitations
FM Sudafix Group Ltd. warrants to buyers that the products sold in this catalogue shall be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. A buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our option, of the product, or any part or parts thereof, which have been returned to us within 14 days of purchase and which we determine to have been defective at the time of original factory shipment. We disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages which may be incurred either by the buyer, or user, of Britclips fixings.
Misapplication: Britclips fixings are intended for use as detailed herein, and no liability is assumed for misapplication of any fixing. Misapplication includes any or all of the following:
- Use beyond load limits specified
- Installation in an unapproved manner*
- Use in other than mildly corrosive atmosphere
*Where threaded rods or bolts are used in conjunction with Britclips fixings, it is important that:
- They are made of steel
- Their thread form meets BS 3643 or corresponding international standard.
*Note: normal applications entail fixing to horizontal or vertical steelwork, timber or masonry (depending on fastener type) and applying static loads vertically to the Britclips installation.
